NLD feeling confident in Kaw Mu Township

Voters in the three villages under the Kaw Mu Township, where NLD leader Aung San Suu Kyi is contesting say they have had a chance to vote freely and securely.

A source at the polling stations 1, 2, 3 in A Pyauk village and polling station 2 in Ma Kyi Kan village under the Kaw Mu Township told Karen News.

“The voters feel safe and say they have a right to vote freely. I heard other stations are also in the same situation.”

Many villagers from A Pyauk, Ma Kyi Kan and Nat Sin Kone villages under Kaw Mu Township indicated that they voted for Aung San Suu Kyi’s, NLD party.

A villager in Nat Sin Kone village confirmed what many other in the area have been saying.

“I love and believe in Daw Su (Aung San Suu Kyi). She may bring success for us. I voted for her.”
A confidant NLD election campaigner said.

“It is looking possible that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi will win. She has run a strong campaign.”
